Center for International Area Studies |
Brain-power to lead the globalization
Built on a land area of 50,000 pyeong with a total floor space
of 20,000 pyeong, the Center for International Area Studies
on the HUFS Yongin Campus is the largest international studies
institute in Korea. Two hundred researchers (80 of whom are

studies on regions throughout the world. Individual area-specific
research institutes of the Center carry out active interdisciplinary
research jointly with liberal arts and social studies departments,
on the basis of which globalization strategies are developed
for both the government and industry. The Center also offers
various training programs for both Korean nationals and foreign
